Click on Settings and Privacy.
On the Settings and privacy page, click on Accounts Center, where you will find the password, security, personal details, and ads.
Proceed to Password and Security under Account settings
Click on Two-factor authentication
. Choose one of the three security methods, which are: A. Authentication app. B. Text messages C. WhatsApp
a. If you choose an Authentication app, click next and download an authentication app, such as Google Authenticator or Duo Mobile (You can download it from Playstore).
Scan the code and click next
Enter the 6-digit code generated by your authentication app and click next, then it is done. (Congratulations).
b. If you want the 2nd option, Text message, click on it and click Next, then Instagram will send a code to your registered phone number.
Enter the code sent from Instagram and click next.
It is done (Congratulations).
c. If you choose the 3rd option (Whatsapp). It is similar to the text message option.
Click Next, then Instagram will send a code to your registered phone number.
It is done (Congratulations).
